Cowboys and horses go to bed.
They close their eyes, lay down their heads
And soon they are asleep.

Trucks and tractors go to bed.
They turn their motors off in a shed
And soon they are asleep.

Baby, listen to what Grandma says:
Dogs and kittens go to bed.
They close their eyes, lay down their heads
And soon they are asleep.

Baby, listen to what Grandpa says:
The big old sun has gone to bed.
The moon is shining down instead.
It’s time to go to sleep.
