If you raise your eyes to heaven,
And your heart is full of woe,
Then you need to speak to Jesus;
Let your heartbreak overflow.

When you turn your eyes to Jesus
And confide in him your pain,
He will listen to your story;
Let his love remove the stain.

Bring your hopes and dreams to Jesus;
Bring your struggles, joys and fear.
He will never overlook you,
For he holds your soul most dear.

Never think you have no value.
If you do, it is not so,
For he sought you and he bought you
On a cross so long ago.
*****
When your soul belongs to Jesus,
In this life there is no fear
That our Master cannot conquer
And he’ll wipe away each tear.
