The first snow of 2019 was beautiful.
Flocked bush at our front door needs no added decoration.
The light dusting of snow on the trees brightened up the inside of our home.
The last leaves clinging to the lower branches of our maple received a chilly coating.
The bird bath on our patio got a lot of visitors this summer.
Our beautiful pink and white phlox is in full bloom.
More phlox peeks out from between the ramp and the house.

The pines are tasseled in white,
The cedars are laced with down,
The birds have quilted the lawn
With dainty stitches around.
Sometime while we were asleep
The clouds shook out their pillows
Covering Autumn’s drab remains
In sparkling, frosted billows.
